NACON Underway

SAN ANTONIO – The Coast Guard Auxiliary 2012 National Conference (NACON)
is now underway at the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk hotel.  Today, senior
national leaders including the national executive committee (NEXCOM),
chief director’s officer (CG-BSX), assistant national commodores
(ANACO’s), directorate/department directors (DIR’s) and deputies (DIR-d’s)
have been meeting in the operations committee (OPCOM) meeting to evaluate
the previous six months and help shape the future of the organization.

Today is a travel day for DIRAUX’s, OTO’s, DCO’s, and DCOS’s to arrive on

    When is a NACON scheduled for the St.Louis, MO area? That is near me as I am a member of Flotilla 3-4. Thank you.

    So, where’s the coverage? No photos, workshops, socializing, etc. Bring back Mel and Sitrep.

    Where is the listing of the PA and PB awards? As Bob Myers said, Bring back Mel and SITREP — events like NACON were covered well by Mel!
