As an Auxiliary member I think this is very cool! Mr. Roker has done so much to promote the Coast Guard. I am proud to be associated with him as an honorary Auxiliary member. Maybe he can help me with the AuxOp weather class I’m taking! ;-). Seriously, he seems to really care about the Coast a Guard, it’s people and mission.
Thanks for all you do Mr Roker!

I have been very impressed with the support Al Roker has shown to the Coast Guard and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. The various programs he has been associated with have done more to publicly highlight the missions of the Coast Guard than has been down for many years. Congratulations Al Roker on being named an Honorary Commodore in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. We are proud to have you with us.
